The Lehigh Group Wins Three Packaging Design Awards
Bronze "ADDYs" Awarded for Packaging Design and Original Illustration
The Lehigh Group captured three Bronze ADDY awards in two categories for outstanding packaging design campaign and original illustration. Lehigh Rope won for Outstanding Packaging Design Campaign, while Wellington Marine won for both Outstanding Packaging Design Campaign and Original Illustration. Both designs were created by Lehigh's graphics team: lead designer Lisa Caliendo-Bauer, Graphic Design Manager, and Phil Avery, Graphics and Product Designer. The ADDY Awards are the world's largest and arguably toughest advertising competition, with over 60,000 entries annually. They recognize all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes, and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world. The American Advertising Federation, a not-for-profit industry association conducts the ADDY Awards through its 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts. It is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry. The ADDY Awards are unique among other advertising creative competitions in that it is the only competition that includes three levels of judging: local, regional, and national/international (regionally, continentally, and globally for international contestants). There are four awards given out; Gold Addy Award, Silver Addy Award, Bronze Addy Award, Honorable Mentions and the Student Addy Award.
