How to make a Wreath Ornament


Here's an easy-to-make ornament that will look great on your tree, in your window, or even as a gift topper. Customer Service Representative Kim Devers won Third Place for her design in The Lehigh Group's 2002 Employee Holiday Decoration Contest.

Supplies Needed:
Lehigh Jute Twine Item #530 Lehigh Holiday Twine Item #NSTH1520 Small safety pin

Assembly:
Step 1. Cut 24 18" lengths of jute twine. Separate into 3 sections of 8 lengths each.
Step 2. Leaving approximately a 2" long tail, braid sections together until 2" of jute twine remains.
Step 3. Form the braid into a circle and tie ends together with a small piece of jute twine.
Step 4. Cut 4 9" pieces of Holiday Twine. Tie lengths into a bow and secure to wreath with a small safety pin. To dress up your wreath, add small embellishments like the small red berries pictured on Kim's wreath.
